Owned by Chris Weylandt, owner of the well-known furniture and homeware store, Weylandts, is the simple and refreshing Maison Estate. Maison is the French word for “home” – and here guests are welcomed to relax, taste and experience in an easy and uncomplicated fashion.

Every bottle of Maison wine is made from grapes harvested on the farm and, each limited edition wine bottle is personally fingerprinted by winemaker Antwan Bondesio. Wine pairings can be enjoyed either in the Tasting Room, or at your table along with ideal accompaniments such as the estates own biltong and blue cheese with the Shiraz, and handmade dark chocolate truffles with the Maison Cape Ruby Port.

The Kitchen at Maison spills out onto the deck and lawns, shaded by oak trees and shared by the resident chickens and pot belly pig. Meals are served up with fresh produce harvested straight from the kitchen gardens, and only the best seasonal produce.
